About Animaker

Animaker is an online video maker built around 2D animation: you assemble scenes from templates, a large library of props and backgrounds, and characters you can design yourself, then add voiceovers and subtitles. Beyond cartoon-style explainers it covers whiteboard and infographic videos, and it has added AI tools for generating videos from text, AI voices in many languages, avatar presenters and one-click translation. It runs in the browser, with an Android app as well. A free plan lets you make and download videos with watermarks and limited premium assets; paid tiers (Basic, Starter, Pro and Enterprise) raise the number of premium exports, custom characters, stock assets and export resolution. It suits marketers, teachers and small businesses who want animated videos without hiring an animator. The catch is the per-month export caps on paid plans, which make heavy production pricier than it first looks.

Best for: Marketers, teachers and small teams making animated explainers on a budget.
