About Dell Display and Peripheral Manager

Dell Display and Peripheral Manager (DDPM) is Dell's companion app for its own monitors and webcams, and it replaces the older Dell Display Manager. From a menu bar or tray icon it adjusts brightness and contrast, schedules day and night brightness, switches video inputs, sets picture-in-picture layouts and changes resolution and orientation. It also includes Easy Arrange window zones with saved layouts and hotkeys, controls for Dell webcams, firmware updates, and on supported monitors it handles USB and network KVM switching between computers. It's meant for people who already own recent Dell displays and want the monitor's settings on screen instead of fiddling with the on-screen menu buttons. The app is free and available for Windows and macOS. It only works with supported Dell hardware, mostly models launched after 2018, needs DDC/CI turned on, and on Macs Dell is focusing support on Apple Silicon, with Intel Macs getting limited or no support.

Best for: Owners of recent Dell monitors or webcams who want the hardware settings on their desktop.
