About IPVanish

IPVanish is a US-based commercial VPN owned by Ziff Davis. It has long been popular with people who use Kodi and streaming boxes because it supports a wide range of devices, including Fire TV, Apple TV, NVIDIA Shield and Chromecast, alongside the usual desktop and mobile apps. One account covers unlimited devices. Features include WireGuard and OpenVPN, a kill switch, split tunnelling, double hop routing, and an upgrade to RAM-only servers. Bundles add antivirus, cloud storage and other extras. The apps expose a fair number of settings without being overwhelming. Pricing is subscription based, with large discounts on longer plans and a money-back guarantee; renewals cost more. Being based in the US puts it in a jurisdiction some privacy-focused users avoid, though it states a no-logs policy. Apps run on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android and iOS. It suits households with many streaming devices.

Best for: Households with lots of streaming boxes and TVs to cover.
