About Pika
Pika started as a text-to-video startup and has become a hub that puts its own models next to well-known ones from other labs, with focused apps on top. Instead of one large editor, you pick a tool for the job: Video Studio for clips up to 30-second multi-shot sequences, Extend Video to lengthen footage, Color Grade, Product Shot, Character Studio for reusable characters, and audio tools for music, speech and sound effects matched to a clip. It also works inside ChatGPT through a plugin and can be driven over MCP or an API. It suits social media creators, marketers and small studios who want quick results without learning a complex tool. The free plan has no monthly credits; you buy credit packs to use it. Paid monthly plans add credits, more parallel generations and a commercial licence, and credits are priced per model, so cheaper models stretch further.
Best for: Social creators and marketers who want simple task-focused apps over a full video suite.
