About VyprVPN

VyprVPN is a VPN service originally built by Golden Frog in Switzerland and later sold to new owners. Its distinguishing points are that it owns and runs its own server hardware rather than renting it, and that it offers Chameleon, a scrambled OpenVPN variant designed to get past deep packet inspection. It was one of the first providers to have its no-logs policy publicly audited. Other features include WireGuard, a kill switch, its own DNS service and app-level split tunnelling on some platforms. The network is smaller than the market leaders, with servers in around seventy countries, and its apps and pace of updates have felt slower than rivals in recent years. Pricing is subscription based with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Apps run on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and routers. It suits people who value owned infrastructure and need an obfuscated protocol.

Best for: Users who want an obfuscated protocol from a provider that owns its servers.
