About AzuraCast

AzuraCast is a free, open-source "radio station in a box" that you install on your own server. One Docker-based install sets up everything a web radio needs: the streaming server (Icecast or SHOUTcast), an AutoDJ for automated playlists, and a web dashboard where you upload music, build playlists and schedules, add remote relays and live DJ accounts, and view listener reports. A single installation can host several stations, with user accounts and fine-grained permissions for each. Every station gets a public player page you can embed on your site, and an API lets developers build custom players using now-playing metadata. AzuraCast runs on any Linux server or desktop with Docker, and there are one-click guides for common cloud hosts. It suits community, hobby and small professional stations that want hosted-service convenience without monthly fees. You are responsible for your own server, bandwidth and music licensing.

Best for: Community and hobby stations that want a full radio stack on their own server for free.
