About Caido
Caido is a web application security toolkit built around an intercepting proxy, aimed at bug bounty hunters, pentesters and security engineers. It covers the core manual workflow of capturing traffic, replaying and editing requests, and automating attacks, and adds HTTPQL, a query language for filtering requests and responses, plus a node-based workflow builder for ad-hoc automation. It is written to be fast and light, can run headless with an API, and supports community plugins. Newer releases add an AI assistant that can use your own model provider. The free Basic plan includes the core HTTP tools with caps on projects, workflows and plugins; paid Individual, Team and Enterprise plans remove the limits and add the AI assistant, shared instances and team billing. It is a younger product than Burp, so its automated scanning and extension ecosystem are smaller.
Best for: Bug bounty hunters and pentesters who want a faster, lighter Burp-style proxy.
