About Mubert
Mubert generates royalty-free instrumental music for videos, podcasts, streams, apps and ads. In its Render web app you can describe what you need in text, upload an image, chat with it, or pick a genre, mood and BPM, and get a track of the length you choose. Tracks can be quickly remixed, stems regenerated or removed, and on higher plans edited in a full track editor. Each download comes with a licence certificate, and a copyright checker is included. Beyond the web app, Mubert sells a music generation API for developers who want to build generative music into their own products. A free Ambassador plan allows a limited number of non-commercial generations with attribution and an audible watermark. Paid tiers add lossless WAV, longer tracks and, from Pro upward, commercial use for freelance and agency work. The licence is aimed at background use: tracks can't be released on streaming services or registered with Content ID, so it doesn't suit musicians releasing songs.
Best for: Content creators and app developers who need quick royalty-free background music.
