About PrivadoVPN

PrivadoVPN is a newer commercial VPN based in Switzerland. Its main draw is a free plan with a monthly data allowance and a choice of server locations, which is more generous than many free tiers, plus cheap paid plans that unlock unlimited data, the full network and up to ten connections. Features include WireGuard and OpenVPN, a kill switch, split tunnelling, a SOCKS5 proxy for torrent clients, an ad blocker and a zero-log policy; some bundles add antivirus. It is smaller and less established than the market leaders, so its network and track record are thinner. Pricing is subscription based with large discounts on longer plans and a money-back guarantee. Apps are available for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and TV devices. It suits people who want to try a VPN with real data for free and then upgrade cheaply.

Best for: Budget users who want a free monthly allowance before paying.
