About Spike

Spike turns email into a chat-style feed: messages are shown as conversations without headers and signatures, so replying feels like messaging. It works with Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo and IMAP accounts, and has grown into a team workspace with channels, private groups, collaborative docs, video meetings and an AI assistant, plus email hosting with its own addresses and custom domains. A free starter plan covers small teams with a few members and an @spike.team address; paid plans billed per member add Spike AI, custom domains, more storage and admin features. It runs on the web, Mac, Windows, iOS and Android. The chat layout is the point, but it can make long, formal emails harder to read, and the product's shift toward a team workspace means more features than someone who just wants a mail app needs. Mail syncs through Spike's servers.

Best for: Small teams who want email and chat to feel like one conversation.
