About Statamic

Statamic is a CMS built on the Laravel PHP framework. By default it stores content as Markdown and YAML files, so a whole site, content included, can live in Git, and it can switch to a database when a project grows. Developers model content with blueprints and fieldsets, write templates in Antlers or Blade, or use it headlessly through REST and GraphQL. Because it is a Laravel package, teams already using Laravel can drop it into an existing application. The free Core edition covers solo use; Pro adds multiple users, roles, revisions, multi-site and the REST and GraphQL APIs for a one-off per-site fee with a year of updates. The marketplace of addons and starter kits is much smaller than WordPress's, and you need PHP and Laravel familiarity to build anything custom. It is self-hosted on any PHP server, and the control panel runs in the browser.

Best for: Laravel developers and agencies who like Git-versioned, flat-file content.
