About Twingate

Twingate is a business remote access product that aims to replace traditional VPN concentrators. Instead of putting users on the whole network, admins define resources, such as a server, subnet or internal app, and grant access by group, with checks based on identity provider login and device posture. Lightweight connectors run inside each private network and make outbound connections only, so there are no inbound ports to open. Users install a client that routes just the traffic for allowed resources. Twingate integrates with common identity providers, MDM tools and logging systems. A free Starter plan covers small teams, a low-cost Home plan targets home labs, and Business and Enterprise plans are billed per user with a trial. Clients run on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and ChromeOS. It suits IT and security teams who want to retire a company VPN without rebuilding their network.

Best for: IT teams replacing a corporate VPN with per-resource, identity-based access.
