About Updatest
Updatest is a Mac utility that gathers app updates in one place. It scans installed apps, works out where each one gets its updates, and checks Homebrew, the Mac App Store, Sparkle feeds, Electron updaters and GitHub Releases. It also gives Homebrew a visual interface: you can update formulae without the terminal and adopt apps you installed by hand so Homebrew manages them from then on. Per-app details show versions, bundle IDs, code signing and notarisation status. The app itself is free since it joined Workbrew. An optional paid Updatest Network subscription adds versions reported anonymously by other users, for apps with no standard update source. It needs macOS 15 or later and works best with Homebrew installed. It suits Mac users with many apps from mixed sources who want one window to review release notes and update everything, rather than opening each app.
