About Urgently
Urgently is a roadside dispatch company that also sells help directly to drivers without a membership. You request a service through its web app, which pinpoints your location, and Urgently assigns a local provider from a network it says is background-checked and insured. You get text updates, can watch the provider approach on a map, call them in a tap, and share a tracking link with family. Services cover towing, jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, gas delivery, winching out of a ditch, and EV and motorcycle towing, across the US and Puerto Rico. Payment is by card through a PayPal-powered checkout. Most of Urgently's business is running roadside programs for other companies (its site links to programs for Volvo owners and Uber Pro drivers), and in 2026 it joined Agero, a large US roadside assistance provider. The trade-off: there's no dedicated consumer app to install, the site doesn't publish per-service prices before you start a request, and as a pay-per-call service it has no membership benefits. The ownership change could also reshape the direct-to-driver offer over time.
