Inshorts alternatives: 5 apps ranked by verified data

Facts checked Nov 8, 2026AppBreakup editorialHow we rankAll RSS readers

Top picks

Common reasons people leave Inshorts: coverage is centred on India, with limited local news elsewhere, and short summaries leave out context on complex stories. We ranked 5 alternatives by how directly each one replaces Inshorts, then by reviews, real visits and how recently each app's facts were checked against its own website. Google News currently ranks first.
