The calculator covers 1542 apps in all, from AI assistants and note apps to VPNs and backup. We haven't verified prices for some big names yet, including Adobe Photoshop, Dropbox and NordVPN, so they aren't in this table; search for them in the calculator and add the price you pay.

UK and India prices

Apps set a separate price for each country, so we don't convert US prices. We have verified pound prices for 32 apps (Amazon Music, Apple Music, Apple News, Barclays, Charlie, Collabora Online, Deliveroo, FreeAgent, iCloud Drive, Livedrive, Microsoft 365, MindGenius, Monzo, NatWest, O2, Prime Video, Qobuz, RAC, Santander Cycles, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, Sitebulb, Spotify, Stash, StudySmarter, SumUp, Supernotes, The AA, Tide, Times Tables Rock Stars, Vodafone UK, Yell and Zilch) and rupee prices for 31 apps so far. Choose your country in the calculator, then add any other app with the price you pay in your own currency.

How we get prices

  • From the app's own site. Every price comes from the app's pricing or help page, stored with a short quote from that page. We list the source and the date we last checked it next to each price. The 2688 plan prices here were checked between Nov 8, 2026 and Nov 8, 2026.
  • Re-checked automatically. We re-read each source page regularly. If the quoted price is missing two checks in a row, the price is marked as changed and drops out of the calculator until it's confirmed again. Real price changes are logged on our price changes page.
  • Only plain prices. We include a plan when its source states a clear monthly or yearly price. We leave out usage pricing, one-time licences, intro offers, multi-year deals and price ranges rather than guess. “$8 a month billed yearly” is counted as $96 a year.
  • Alternatives from our lists. Cheaper and free options come from the alternatives our editors list for each app, ranked by our published formula. Read how we verify facts for the details, and tell us if a price is wrong.

Questions

How much do I spend on subscriptions?
Add each subscription you pay for above, pick the plan and whether you pay monthly or yearly, and the calculator adds them up per month, per year and over 5 years. Bank and card statements are the best place to find the ones you've forgotten: look for small charges that repeat every month or every year.
Where do the prices come from?
Each price is a fact we checked on the app's own pricing or help page, with a link to that page and the date we last checked it. The prices in the calculator were checked between Nov 8, 2026 and Nov 8, 2026. We never estimate or convert a price.
Why can't I find Adobe Photoshop, Dropbox and NordVPN?
We only show a price once we've verified it on the app's own site. You can still search for any app in our catalog and add it with the price you pay; it's marked "your price", counts in your totals, and we still show its free or cheaper alternatives.
Does it work for the UK and India?
Yes for custom rows, but our verified prices are mostly US prices for now: 1493 apps in US dollars, 32 in pounds and 31 in rupees. We don't convert dollar prices, because apps set their own prices for each country.
Is it cheaper to pay yearly?
Often. Prime Video Amazon Prime costs $14.99 a month or $139.00 a year, which saves $40.88 (23%) over 12 months. Where an app publishes both prices, switch the billing on its row to compare.
How is the 5-year total worked out?
It's the yearly total multiplied by 5, at today's prices. It doesn't add price rises, taxes, currency changes or introductory discounts, so treat it as a floor rather than a forecast.
How do you work out the savings?
For each subscription we look at the alternatives our editors list for it. A free alternative saves the whole cost; a paid one saves the difference between your plan and its cheapest verified price. Only switch if the alternative does what you need.
Do the prices include tax?
They're the prices each app publishes. Depending on where you live, sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout, and some prices are per user.
Is my list saved anywhere?
No. Your list lives in the page and its web address, which holds only plan and app names, billing choices and any prices you typed. Names you type for custom rows stay in your browser and aren't added to the link.
