About Activepieces

Activepieces is an open-source alternative to Zapier that you can use in its cloud or run on your own servers with Docker or Kubernetes. Flows are built in a clean step-by-step builder that non-technical users can follow, with branching, loops, approvals, and the option to describe a step in plain English or drop into TypeScript. Its integrations, called pieces, are MIT-licensed and contributed by the community, and the workspace now also includes AI agents, chat, tables and MCP servers. Pricing is unusual: rather than per-task tiers, paid plans are a flat monthly fee with a credit allowance and pay-as-you-go beyond it, and a free plan with no card required. Self-hosted use gives the most control, with enterprise features such as SSO, audit logs and Git sync on higher plans, and an embed option lets software companies put the builder inside their own product. The integration library is smaller than Zapier's or Make's, so check your apps are covered.

Best for: Teams wanting a Zapier-like builder they can self-host and extend.
