About Axway Amplify API Management
Axway Amplify API Management is a commercial platform for large organisations to secure, publish and govern their APIs. Its gateway enforces access rules, rate limits and quotas, and Axway says it ships more than 200 prebuilt security policies. It handles the full lifecycle from design and testing to publication and retirement. A developer portal and marketplace let internal teams and partners find and reuse APIs. Its federated, or universal, approach lets companies discover and govern APIs running on other vendors' gateways, not just Axway's own. The data plane can be installed on-premises or in any cloud. Amplify sits beside Axway's managed file transfer and B2B/EDI products, and newer modules add an AI gateway for governing access to models and agents. It is aimed at banks, healthcare and government bodies with complex, regulated estates. There's no public pricing; it's sold through sales contracts, and smaller teams will find it heavy.
