Clip Studio Paint, made by the Japanese company Celsys, is a drawing and painting app especially popular with comic, manga and webtoon artists. Its pen engine and stabilisation produce clean line art, and vector layers let you adjust line thickness after drawing. Comic-specific features include panel layout, speech balloons, screentones, perspective rulers and 3D posable models for reference, while the EX edition adds multi-page projects and longer animation timelines.
