About Linearity Curve

Linearity Curve, previously known as Vectornator, is a vector graphics app for Mac and iPad. It offers pen and pencil tools, shapes, boolean operations, text on paths, auto trace for turning images into vectors, and a library of templates, icons and fonts, all in an interface that is gentler than Illustrator. It is designed for Apple Pencil on iPad and runs natively on Apple silicon Macs, and pairs with Linearity Move, the company's animation tool, for turning static designs into motion graphics. AI-assisted drawing tools have been added in recent versions. It is a good fit for marketers, social media designers, illustrators and students on Apple devices; Windows users are left out, and some professional print features are thin. There is a free tier with essential features, and Pro plans are billed monthly or annually, with team plans above that.

Best for: Mac and iPad users who want approachable vector design without Illustrator's complexity.
