About electerm

electerm is an open-source, Electron-based client that combines a local terminal with remote connections in one app. It supports SSH with an SFTP file manager alongside each session, Telnet, serial ports, FTP, and graphical RDP, VNC and Spice connections, with saved bookmarks organised in groups. Other features include a built-in file editor, quick commands, batch operations, multiple themes, an AI assistant that can use various model providers, and syncing bookmarks and settings through GitHub or Gitee gists or other services. It runs on Linux, macOS and Windows, with Android and iOS versions as well, and there is a web-based variant. It is free and MIT licensed. Being built on Electron, it uses more memory than native clients, and with so many protocols in one app some features are less refined than in specialised tools.

Best for: People who want one free client for SSH, SFTP and remote desktop connections.
