About eM Client

eM Client is a desktop email client from a Czech company, available for Windows and macOS. It bundles mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, notes and chat in one app and works with Gmail, Microsoft 365, Exchange, iCloud and any IMAP server. Built-in PGP encryption, snooze, send later, templates, translation and an optional AI assistant are included, and the contact sidebar shows past conversations and attachments with each person. Many people move to it from Outlook because it offers similar depth with a lighter interface and offline-friendly local storage. A free version covers home use with a small number of accounts; paid Personal and Business licenses unlock unlimited accounts and support, with a choice between a yearly subscription and a one-time purchase. There is no Linux version and the mobile apps are newer and less complete than the desktop app. Business licenses are counted per device, which can add up for larger teams.

Best for: Windows and Mac users who want Outlook-level features without Outlook.
