About ExtraHop RevealX
ExtraHop RevealX is a network detection and response platform that analyses full network packets, including decrypted traffic, to spot attackers moving inside a network. It combines NDR with network performance monitoring, a signature-based intrusion detection system and packet capture for forensics, so one set of sensors can replace several older tools. Security teams use it to investigate incidents and trace lateral movement, while network teams use the same data to troubleshoot slow applications. Physical and virtual sensors are available, and the platform can run self-hosted, including in air-gapped networks, or as a cloud service. It holds FedRAMP authorisation for US federal agencies. Pricing is by quote through sales. It suits larger organisations with busy data centres and hybrid cloud networks rather than small businesses.
Best for: Enterprises wanting packet-level NDR, IDS and network performance monitoring from one set of sensors.
