About Genspark

Genspark is an AI workspace built around a Super Agent that plans and carries out multi-step tasks, from web research and market reports to slide decks, spreadsheets, documents and small apps. Rather than tying you to one model, it routes work across 70+ models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others, and it connects to 200+ outside tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion and CRMs. The company has spread into many related products: GenMail for email, an AI browser, a voice dictation app called Speakly, a desktop agent named Claw that operates your computer, and add-ins for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Apps exist for Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone and Android as well as the web. There is a free tier with limited usage; paid plans run on monthly credits, with Team and Enterprise options that add admin controls, SSO and data residency. It is made by MainFunc, based in Palo Alto.

Best for: Knowledge workers who want one AI tool to research and produce finished decks, docs and sheets.

Pros and cons

What works

  • Agent produces finished slides, sheets and documents, not just chat answers
  • Access to 70+ models from several providers in one subscription
  • 200+ integrations with common work tools
  • Apps on every major desktop and mobile platform

Why people leave

  • Credit-based pricing makes heavy use hard to predict
  • Large and fast-changing product range can be confusing
  • Main pricing page blocks automated access, so plans are hard to compare
