About GeoGebra

GeoGebra is a set of math apps that combines graphing, geometry, 3D plotting, spreadsheets, statistics, probability and a computer algebra system in one engine. Most people now use the Calculator Suite, which puts all of these in a single app, while the older GeoGebra Classic is kept for advanced users and teachers authoring interactive materials. You can construct shapes and drag them to see relationships change, plot functions and surfaces, or solve and factor expressions symbolically. Around the apps sits a large library of free classroom activities made by the community and GeoGebra Classroom, where teachers can watch student progress live. There is an exam mode that locks down the device for tests. It runs in the browser and as apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, works offline once installed, and doesn't require an account. It is free for students, teachers and other non-commercial users; commercial use needs a paid licence. GeoGebra has been part of BYJU'S since 2021.

Best for: Math teachers and students who want graphing, geometry and CAS in one free tool.
