About iZotope RX
iZotope RX is the industry's best-known audio repair and restoration toolkit, used heavily in film and TV post-production, podcasts and music. It runs as a standalone editor with a spectrogram display where you can see and remove unwanted sounds, and as plugins inside DAWs and video editors. Modules tackle specific problems: de-noise, de-reverb, de-click, de-hum, mouth de-click, breath control, and Dialogue Isolate for pulling speech out of noisy locations, plus machine-learning stem separation that splits music or scenes into parts. It comes in three tiers, Elements, Standard and Advanced, each with progressively more modules, sold as perpetual licences with paid upgrades and also included in some iZotope bundles and subscriptions. iZotope is part of Native Instruments. RX is not a full editor or DAW, so you use it alongside one, and the most powerful modules sit only in the expensive Advanced tier. It runs on Windows and macOS.
Best for: Post-production engineers and podcasters who need to rescue damaged or noisy recordings.
