About LeechBlock NG
LeechBlock NG is a browser extension for Firefox, Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers such as Brave, Opera and Vivaldi that blocks the sites you waste time on. You set up to 30 groups of sites, each with its own rules: blocked during fixed hours, after a time allowance (say 10 minutes per hour), or a mix of both. Wildcards and exceptions let you block a whole domain but keep one subdomain open, and a lockdown mode blocks sites immediately for a set duration. A password or random access code on the options page adds friction when you're tempted to change the rules. It's free and open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, built by one developer. Because it runs inside the browser, it doesn't touch desktop apps or other browsers, and the author notes it isn't meant for parental control.
Best for: People who want free, fine-grained limits on distracting sites inside their browser.
