About MarketMuse
MarketMuse analyses your site's content inventory against topics in your market to show where you have authority, what to update and which new articles to write. For individual pages it creates detailed content briefs and optimisation reports with related topics and questions, and it estimates how hard a topic will be for your site specifically rather than in general. Features include content clusters, competitive content analysis and a brief generator. It is aimed at content strategists and larger publishing teams that plan content at scale, as well as agencies. There is a free plan with a single user and a handful of queries per month, then Optimize, Research and Strategy tiers, with prices given through a demo for the larger plans. The interface takes time to learn and the full value only appears on higher plans, which are expensive for small teams. It runs in the browser.
Best for: Content strategists planning topic coverage across large sites.
