About Mocha
Mocha was a no-code AI app builder from the team behind Srcbook. You described a website or app in plain language, Mocha wrote the code, and you refined it through chat before publishing with one click. Its main difference from tools like Lovable was vertical integration: every app came with its own database, Google sign-in, backend code, analytics, email sending and hosting, so you didn't need to set up and pay for separate services. It also had a Discuss mode for planning features, a Max mode with a stronger coding agent, direct text editing that didn't use credits, version history and Stripe payment integration. It ran in the browser on a credit-based freemium model. Mocha's documentation says the service shut down on 1 August 2026 and points users to a migration and export guide, so existing users need a new home for their projects; the alternatives listed here are the closest replacements.
