About Play Sequence

Play Sequence is a free website for one game: Sequence, the card-and-board game where you play a card, place a chip on the matching space and race to build rows of five. You can play the computer on three levels, where Easy plays at random, Medium blocks and builds, and Hard looks for double threats, or create a room and send the link to friends. Rooms take 2 to 12 players in two or three teams, and the site deals the cards, tracks turns, handles both kinds of Jacks and spots finished sequences, so nobody argues about the rules. There is no account or download; your browser keeps a random player ID, and you type a name when you join. Video calling and chat are built in, so a remote game night doesn't need a separate Zoom call, though video currently works on computers only. A leaderboard ranks the fastest wins against the computer, and finished games can be replayed. The trade-off is scope: it only plays Sequence, so groups who want variety will need a multi-game site. Disclosure: Play Sequence has the same owner as AppBreakup. Its ranking here uses the same published formula as every other app.

Best for: Families and friend groups who want a quick, free game of Sequence without anyone signing up.
