About SoundBuddy
SoundBuddy is a native macOS menu bar app for people who want their preferred microphone to remain selected when headphones connect. Optional Input Lock restores the chosen default input while SoundBuddy is open; call apps can use their own input settings. It also includes six keyboard sound packs and Bluetooth device controls. Keyboard sounds across apps require Input Monitoring permission, and device information depends on the hardware. The direct-download edition requires an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later. It is a paid one-time purchase for one Mac, with internet access for licence checks and no free trial. The installer is Developer ID signed and notarized. I am the maker.
