About Taskrabbit

Taskrabbit connects you with local helpers, called Taskers, for everyday jobs like furniture assembly, TV mounting, moving help, minor repairs and cleaning. You pick a task, compare Taskers by hourly rate, skills and reviews, chat with them and book a same-day or future slot. Every Tasker passes identity and criminal background checks, payment happens in the app by card once the job is done, and tipping is optional. You can cancel or reschedule free with 24 hours' notice. Taskrabbit is owned by IKEA's parent group and is IKEA's assembly partner in many markets. The app is free; you pay the Tasker's hourly rate plus fees. It runs on the web, Android and iOS in the US, UK, Canada and parts of Europe. It suits small jobs better than big renovations.

Best for: Renters and homeowners who need quick help with assembly, mounting or moving.
