About Turntable
Turntable is a small GNOME-style app for Linux that watches whatever music player you're using and records each track to your listening history. It works with any player that exposes MPRIS, the standard Linux media-control interface, so Spotify, Rhythmbox, Lollypop, browsers and most others are covered without per-app plugins. You can send scrobbles to Last.fm, ListenBrainz, Libre.fm and a self-hosted Maloja server at the same time, and pick which players are allowed to scrobble. The window doubles as a customisable now-playing card with cover art and playback controls. If you only want logging, a command-line mode runs in the background, though accounts still have to be set up in the GUI first. It's free and open source under the GPL, built with GTK and libadwaita, and distributed mainly as a Flatpak on Flathub. There are no Windows, macOS or mobile versions.
Best for: Linux desktop users who want one app to scrobble every MPRIS player to several services..
