About Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Tuxera
Microsoft NTFS for Mac by Tuxera is a commercial NTFS driver that lets Macs write to USB sticks and external drives formatted for Windows. After installation, NTFS drives behave like normal writable disks in Finder. Tuxera says it uses smart caching for fast transfers and is the only NTFS driver on the market that supports NTFS extended attributes. It comes with Tuxera Disk Manager, a companion app for formatting, checking and repairing NTFS drives, and it works with dual-boot and virtual machine setups. It supports a very long list of macOS versions, from 10.4 through macOS 27, on PowerPC, Intel and Apple silicon Macs. There's a 14-day free trial, then a paid licence for one person; there's no free tier. It suits people who want a dependable paid driver and value the bundled disk tools.
Best for: Mac users who want a paid NTFS driver with tools to format and repair Windows drives..
