About UniFab
UniFab, from the makers of DVDFab, is a Windows and Mac suite of AI video tools. Its main modules upscale footage to 4K, 8K or even 16K, remove noise and compression artifacts, interpolate frames for smoother motion, convert SDR to HDR, colorize black-and-white film and sharpen faces, and it can upmix stereo audio to 5.1 or 7.1 surround. It also bundles a converter for over 1,000 formats, subtitle generation and translation, a screen recorder and a basic editor. Modules are sold individually or as an All-In-One licence on monthly, yearly or lifetime terms, with a 30-day watermark-free trial. A separate FabCloud credit system runs some tools in the browser or offloads processing from the desktop app. Local processing works best on a recent NVIDIA RTX GPU. It suits people restoring old DVDs, home videos and TV rips. The many separately priced modules and constant discount promotions make it hard to compare costs.
Best for: Home users restoring old DVDs, TV rips and family videos on a Windows PC or Mac.
