About Velja

Velja is a macOS browser picker from indie developer Sindre Sorhus. You set it as the default browser, then write rules based on the website or on the app where you clicked the link, and choose which browser, browser profile or app should open it. Some routing works with no setup, such as sending Google Meet links to Chrome and Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Figma links to their desktop apps. When you want to choose by hand, Velja can show a keyboard-driven prompt for every link, only for links from certain apps, or only while you hold the Fn key. It supports profiles and private windows in most Chromium browsers and Firefox-based ones like Zen and LibreWolf. It is a one-time purchase with a fully working trial that only adds periodic reminders, and it collects no personal data. The current version requires macOS 26, with older versions available for older systems.
