About Wag!
Wag! is a US pet care app that started with on-demand dog walking and now also books drop-in visits, overnight sitting, boarding, day care and training. You add your pet, request a service and either pick a caregiver from profiles and reviews or let Wag! find someone nearby. Walks are tracked by GPS in the app, and caregivers send messages, photos and videos. Caregivers pass a background check and a pet safety quiz before joining, and bookings are backed by the Wag! Guarantee with property and pet coverage. Prices are set by caregivers, a booking fee applies to each booking, and the optional Wag! Premium membership removes those fees and adds discounts and vet chat. Wag! also sells pet insurance comparisons and wellness plans. It runs only in the United States, but in thousands of cities. It suits busy dog owners who want quick, often same-day walks.
Best for: US dog owners who want on-demand or recurring walks with GPS tracking.
