About Aftershoot

Aftershoot speeds up the post-shoot work that eats photographers' evenings. Its culling tool sorts thousands of images, flags duplicates, closed eyes and blur, and picks the strongest frames; its editing tool learns from your past Lightroom edits to build a personal AI profile that applies your style to new shoots; and its retouching tool handles skin, blemishes and stray objects. Edited results are sent back to Lightroom or Capture One for finishing, and it has added client galleries. Processing happens offline on your machine, so files don't need to be uploaded. It does not replace a RAW editor or catalogue. Pricing is a flat subscription with unlimited images, with separate culling, editing and retouching plans or an all-in-one bundle, billed monthly or annually. A 30-day free trial needs no card. It runs on Windows and macOS.

Best for: Wedding and event photographers who want AI to cull and edit in their own style.
