About Airmail

Airmail is a long-standing email client for Apple platforms, covering Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. It supports Gmail, Outlook, Exchange, iCloud, Yahoo and IMAP accounts, and stands out for how much you can change: custom swipe actions, rules, smart folders, themes, plugins on Mac, and sending emails straight to apps such as Things, OmniFocus, Todoist or Evernote. Snooze, send later and a unified inbox are included. The basic app is free to download, and a Pro subscription unlocks the advanced features; a separate Airmail for Business edition is sold without a subscription for managed devices. Airmail has had periods of slow updates and sync bugs, and the settings screens can feel overwhelming. It is Apple-only, so anyone also using Windows or Android will need a different app there. People who like to tune every detail of their workflow still pick it over Apple Mail.

Best for: Apple users who want to customise every action and send mail to other apps.
