About BankBazaar
BankBazaar is an Indian online marketplace where you compare credit cards, personal loans, home loans, car loans, fixed deposits and insurance from many banks and lenders, then apply through the site or app. It also gives a free Experian credit score using a soft enquiry, so checking does not affect the score, and sends score updates on WhatsApp. Beyond comparison, BankBazaar now issues its own co-branded credit cards with partner banks, and the site carries a large library of calculators and guides on interest rates, EMIs, income tax and government documents. Using it costs nothing: the company is paid by lenders and card issuers when you take a product. It runs on the web and on Android and iPhone apps, and only covers Indian financial products. The trade-offs are the usual ones for lead marketplaces: expect follow-up calls after applying, and the products shown are the ones it has partnerships for, not the whole market.
