About ClearScore

ClearScore gives you your credit score and full credit report for free, with no trial period, and makes its money as a credit broker: when you take out a card, loan or car finance deal through it, the lender pays a commission. In the UK the report comes from Equifax and is refreshed weekly when something changes. Beyond the score, the app shows a summary of everything you owe, a repayment simulator that estimates when debts will be paid off, an AI helper called Caisey that explains changes on the report, and a Protect feature that watches for leaked passwords tied to your email. Offers are shown with your approval chances, and comparing them does not affect your score. It began in London and is regulated by the FCA, and it also runs local versions in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Canada. It is available on the web, iPhone and Android. Because the UK report uses one bureau, it can differ from what Experian or TransUnion hold about you.
