About Brandwatch
Brandwatch, now part of Cision, is best known for social listening: it monitors brand mentions, topics and competitors across a very large set of social, news, forum and review sources, with long historical data, AI-assisted analysis and image recognition. Its social media management product, which grew out of the earlier Falcon.io acquisition, adds publishing and a content calendar, a customisable inbox for engagement across major networks and messaging apps, advertising tools, benchmarking and reporting, so research and social teams can work from the same data. It is aimed at large brands and agencies and is sold on annual contracts through sales, with no public pricing. Teams that only need scheduling will find it far more than they need, and the listening and management products are often bought separately. It runs in the browser with mobile apps for publishing and engagement. It suits enterprises where social listening and research matter as much as publishing.
Best for: Enterprise brands that need top-tier social listening tied to publishing and engagement.
