About Ecamm Live
Ecamm Live is a Mac-only studio app for people who stream or record shows, webinars and podcasts from their desk. You build scenes in advance with titles, logos, split screens and lower thirds, then switch between cameras, screen shares and pre-recorded clips live. Remote guests join from a browser, and Ecamm can pull viewer comments from YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and other platforms and put them on screen. It also works as a virtual camera and microphone for Zoom and other call apps, supports Elgato Stream Deck, NDI, HDMI capture cards and DSLRs over USB, and saves a local recording of every broadcast. Compared with OBS it trades flexibility and cross-platform support for a far gentler learning curve aimed at creators, marketers and coaches rather than gamers. It's sold as a subscription after a free trial, with the higher tier adding multistreaming, isolated track recording and NDI output.
