About Feishin
Feishin is a modern, open-source music player for people who host their own music library. It connects to servers such as Navidrome, Jellyfin and other Subsonic-compatible servers and presents your collection in a polished interface similar to commercial streaming apps, with album and artist browsing, playlists, a queue, synced lyrics, smart filters and scrobbling via the server. It can use the MPV engine for gapless playback and wide format support, and it can be run as a desktop app on Windows, macOS and Linux or as a web app self-hosted with Docker. It is developed by jeffvli and contributors and grew out of an earlier project called Sonixd. It is free under the GPL-3.0 licence. You need to run a compatible server first, so it isn't for people who only stream from services, and features vary by server type. There are no official mobile apps.
Best for: Self-hosters running Navidrome or Jellyfin who want a polished desktop player.
