About Felt

Felt is a browser-based mapping platform built around collaboration. Several people can edit the same map at once, drop annotations and comments, and share it publicly or with logged-in viewers, much like a shared document. Paid plans let you upload common GIS formats such as Shapefile, GeoPackage, GeoJSON, KML and GeoTIFF, connect live sources like Google Sheets, ArcGIS services, databases and cloud buckets, and run analysis such as SQL queries and drive-time areas. It also offers dashboards, field data collection with forms and photos, an AI assistant, a REST API and a JavaScript SDK for building map apps, and a QGIS plugin for pushing desktop work to the web. It suits teams in government, utilities, real estate and similar fields that need to share maps beyond GIS specialists. A free plan covers basic map making; paid plans are priced per workspace with extra seats, and viewers are free.

Best for: Teams that need to share and edit maps with non-GIS colleagues in the browser.
