About Honey
Honey is a free browser extension, owned by PayPal, that looks for coupon codes when you shop on supported store sites and tests them at checkout with one click, applying whichever saves the most. It also has Droplist, which watches items you save and alerts you when a store lowers the price, and a rewards programme that gives points on purchases at participating stores, redeemable for gift cards or through PayPal in the US. Honey works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Opera on desktop, and on iPhone through a Safari extension bundled with its iOS app; Android browsers aren't supported for the extension. It makes money from store commissions, so it costs nothing to use. The trade-offs: codes often fail or are missing for smaller stores, rewards are only offered at some shops, and the extension needs permission to read and change data on every site you visit.
Best for: Online shoppers who want coupon codes tried automatically without hunting for them.
