About HyperWrite

HyperWrite, made by OthersideAI, is a general AI writing assistant that lives mostly in a Chrome extension. Its TypeAhead feature predicts the next words as you type on almost any site, and you can also ask it to draft, rewrite or reply to emails in Gmail, chat about a draft, or use hundreds of prebuilt tools for specific tasks. A research mode searches the web and scholarly papers and returns cited answers, and custom personas let you shape the AI's style to match your own. There is also a web document editor. Paid plans are priced monthly or annually: Premium includes a monthly allowance of AI messages and a few personas, while Ultra makes messages unlimited and gives early access to experimental agent features. HyperWrite overlaps heavily with general chatbots now, so its value is mainly the in-browser autocomplete and convenience of working where you already type.

Best for: Chrome users who want AI autocomplete and drafting on any website.
