Lansweeper scans networks to discover and inventory hardware, software and users across IT, OT, cloud and IoT environments, then keeps that data current and searchable. It records models, serial numbers, installed software, firmware and warranty status, groups assets by location or owner, draws network diagrams and flags devices or software reaching end of life or carrying known vulnerabilities. Data can be pushed into service desks and security tools such as ServiceNow, Freshservice and Microsoft Sentinel, and workflows automate routine tasks. It is a cloud platform with on-premises scanning installations. A free plan covers up to 100 assets after a 14-day full trial; paid Starter, Pro and Enterprise plans are billed annually and priced by asset count, starting at 2,000 assets. It suits IT and security teams in mid-size and large organisations that need an accurate inventory; small teams wanting simple asset check-in and check-out may find it more than they need.
