About Magnific (formerly Freepik)
Magnific is the new name for Freepik, the stock-content company that bought the Magnific AI upscaler and later adopted that brand for its whole platform. It combines a library of hundreds of millions of photos, vectors, videos and PSDs with an AI creative suite: an image generator with access to many models (including Google's Nano Banana and Seedream), an image editor, the well-known Magnific upscaler, image extension, relighting, background removal, video and audio generation, and a node-style Spaces canvas. Plans are credit based, with credits granted per year and higher tiers offering unlimited generations on selected models. The company states it does not train models on your data. It runs on the web, with mobile and desktop apps and an API. It suits designers and marketers who already buy stock and want generation and upscaling in the same subscription.
