About Ideogram
Ideogram is a web and iOS image generator that made its name by rendering legible, well-placed text, which makes it a common pick for posters, logos, thumbnails, packaging mock-ups and social graphics. Beyond text-to-image it offers a canvas-style editor for inpainting and extending images, background and object removal, upscaling, layered text editing, custom models, short video generation and partner models alongside its own. Pricing is credit based. Free accounts that sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft get a weekly allowance, but everything they generate is public. Paid personal and team plans add monthly credits, private generation and batch generation, and paid subscribers can keep using Ideogram's own models in a slower queue after credits run out. There is also a pay-as-you-go API. It suits designers and marketers who need words in their images to come out right.
Best for: Designers and marketers making posters, logos and graphics with text in them.
